The reason why I like this picture is because of the shadows and the ball in the air, as well as the actions the people are making.

Young footballers in South Africa and Germany use photography to reflect on their lives and communicate with each other and a wider public through this blog. Lovely energy and the ball is very well placed and seems to be in a spotlight and is the focus of the photo. The shadow of the ball also interesting - looks as if the guy under it is doing a 'shadow header'! Good action and positioning of girl too - very well done.

It shows you don't need the heads on the real figures, because you have the heads on the shadows!
